Health Institutions Management Program
General Information
Health services are a rapidly growing service sector that is directly related to the health of both individuals and society, has the greatest impact on the development of our country along with economic indicators. While the health services sector is growing, it is also undergoing rapid change. Especially in recent years, factors such as technological developments, increased communication and transportation opportunities, and ease of access to information have rapidly changed expectations from health services. Both the changing expectations of patients and the necessity of managing health institutions with a modern management approach require that the human resources to work in health institutions have high qualifications. On the other hand, the rapid increase in the number of health institutions, both public and private, necessitates increasing the quantity of human resources to work in these institutions. In this direction, the health institutions management program is designed to meet the needs in the health sector; It trains intermediate staff with both health and business knowledge.
Aims and Objectives of the Program
The main purpose of the health institutions management program is; To train qualified health institution operators who have the knowledge of both medical terminology and modern business administration, who can adapt to technological developments, and who adopt medical ethics and moral principles that the health sector needs. The main objectives of the program are as follows;
To train human resources that can meet the requirements of the health sector, have knowledge of sectoral dynamics and adapt to changes,
To blend the theoretical knowledge needed in health institutions with practical applications.
Admission Conditions
The basic admission conditions are for candidates to meet the conditions determined by ÖSYM, to be a high school graduate and to have received sufficient points from the University Student Selection Examination. For horizontal transfers, individuals must also meet the acceptance requirements.
Graduation Requirements
Students who have 120 ECTS/ECTS, a weighted GPA of "2.00" out of 4.00 and have completed their compulsory internship are entitled to graduation. Graduates are awarded an associate degree in Health Institutions Management Program.

Graduates of the healthcare institutions management program can work in various healthcare institutions such as hospitals, insurance companies, research centers and related laboratories.
