From Education to the Environment: Two Meaningful Projects for Youth and the Future

Social responsibility activities carried out by the Tarsus University Child Development Student Society continue with the support of the UNIDES project program. Within this scope, the project titled “Supporting Participation in Education from A to Z” aims to strengthen equal opportunities in access to education and to support the active participation of children and young people in the educational process.

At the same time, the Young Green Crescent Student Society is implementing the “My Soul Is Free, My Future Is Clean: Combating Addiction and Raising Zero Waste Awareness for Youth” project, also supported by UNIDES. This project seeks to raise awareness among young individuals about addictions, promote healthy lifestyle habits, and increase environmental sensitivity.

Through the activities carried out within the framework of these two projects, it is aimed to enhance the academic, psychosocial, and environmental awareness of children and young people, to raise conscious individuals for a sustainable future, and to strengthen social responsibility. With these education-, health-, and environment-based initiatives, the university continues to contribute to university–community cooperation.
