History

Vocational School of Health Services was established in 1992, affiliated with Mersin University. Tarsus University was established with the "Law No. 7141 on Amendments to the Higher Education Law and Certain Laws and Decree Laws" published in the Official Gazette No. 30425 dated May 18, 2018; with this law, Vocational School of Health Services, which is under the umbrella of Mersin University, Tarsus It is affiliated with the university.

In our Vocational School of Health Services; Department of Child Care and Youth Services; Child Development Program, Management and Organization Department; Health Institutions Management Program, Pharmacy Services Department; Pharmacy Services Program, Division of Health Care Services; Aged Care Program, Department of Medical Services and Techniques; 5 departments: First and Emergency Aid Program and Medical Documentation and Secretariat Program; There are 6 programs. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Department of Management and Organization Health Institutions Management Program started accepting students with 3 faculty members and 1 faculty member. The need for 3 faculty members of the Child Care and Youth Services Department Child Development Program has been met and this program has been made ready for student admission in the 2020-2021 academic year.
